I wasn't the most ready person to celebrate Chinese New Year with a bang I guess. I probably bet that there are many others like myself. Still I am committed that it stays memorable and fun.. Having had my brother's Laksa was a great experience. I can remember clearly his description of why he chose the ingredients he choose, and the way he describes it really gets into you..

"You know how Laksa is jialat... like super gross stuff? Squeezing the Thai Lime will neutralise that effect, Using Water Crest and Tao Geh adds on the color of the dish to make it look presentable and the Basil Leaf changes the whole experience of having this bowl of laksa"

Well its along that lines but damn the laksa was good and more importantly, its easy to make.. :)

We went butter factory and the initial horror we had was that it was totally empty. Well, we thought we might as well drink up and see what happens since there was one for one.. and sure enough the fireworks caught my attention! We also had the privillage of having Jun to photograph our experience there. Its awesome and thank you June. The photos were great.

I've managed to somehow video the whole fireworks and this time I am armed with my best gadget of the year, the iPhone! Woohoo!

So sure Bjorn was feeling down as things haven't been going well for him. Sure he has issues with his mum but there is one thing you can't rob away from him. His passion in making great drinks and great food! (and his car, and chicks, and music)

This conversation was pretty interesting cause we realized after researching mr 305 actually meant mr Miami! A nick name for pitbull himself! Damn that guys awesome dude!

Speaking of awesome, a chain of random unrelated events happened that made me pleasantly surprised. Well I attribute these to me being completely happy and high 2 nights ago.... Mmm

1.I met Daphne Khoo
2.I was told I was dancing with her!
3.I was told I kept saying Charlyn is hot ( don't worry I probably meant it anyways.. Doesn't take a genius to say that )
4.I am actually working on a track for Daphne.
5.A Tian Tian a stranger added me on fb fuckin gorgeous and I have no clue. Could I have met her somewhere?
6.My long lost aquantaince Don Tiew messaged me randomly while I was high.
7.We just had a fb convo and yeah I was perturbed when I saw a relationship request! But for the fun of it, i accepted anyways.( Meaningless for now stay calm girls. )
8.Gwen told me I was kissing her again. I'm like "what the!! Was it good???I dont believe!" (I'm sure I did nothing like that but If I did it anyways, Im certain it's good otherwise why would she let me kiss her???bleah) Gwen talk cock lah never kiss at all lor you were with jap dudes!
9.Oh what the hell, I think this year have just started to get pretty exciting for me!

11.Bjorn shared with me that Gwen said that actually I kinda look alright ( thanks Gwen ) just that it's the way I talk to chicks and I treat everyone like friends and that's why I'm still single! Hah I guess this years gonna be great to have some awesome fun. Bring it on bitches!

Crazy 2 days I had and there is no better way to end the day with popeye chicken in the airport with my brotherhood of NOD, comrades, bombadiers of the B17 Memphis belle co., Foxhound, the la Li Lu Le lo, the free masons, the wutang clan, .. Yeah my brothers in short. Probably be rotting at home without you all.

The Hangover : except there is no tiger in my bathroom and perhaps it's 100 times less extreme.

I woke up seeing a broken glass in my room, lights on, only in my underwear, and when I tried to get up, I realized I was still high! And boy it was a great high. Funny thing is I couldn't remember the events that happened prior to all this. Zero. I was too lazy to even to a back trace but the first thing I did was to call Andy.

On the conversation we had on the phone, I realized that we were on the phone the whole while last night and I honestly don't remember having any conversation, I don't even remember how I actually got home! But Andy assured me that I was super awesome last night and that pretty much made my day! It was Raimi who got me into a cab and saved the day! Which is totally random but yeah it's cool!

Still feeling high, I had this
CraZY idea of getting out of the house and live like a rockstar, I dressed up in a rockstar fashion, did my hair dancing to loud music, left my room in a mess, got out and grabbed a cab to pick Andy up! We didn't had a concrete plan but we managed to check out some guitars, some keyboard! Crashed eventually at SMG, played a little street fighter, head down to link up with Raimi and YZanne in boarders, head for a karaoke session at cuppage and damn all that while I am on a sustained high.

If there was any experience I've had yesterday, it was just one of pure courage and have zero fear of looking bad in front anyone. There was zero consideration and I was being authentic. I love everyone. At least for yesterday! Heh

Unanimous

The highlight for the day for me is when we walked into a random apple store and both me and Andy discovered that the very iPhone case we wanted is actually made available here in Singapore! We both looked at each other with our jaws wide open. It was like we both felt the exact same thing! We broke into a laughter when we actually tried so hard to purchase it from USA through Domonic and Tabbitha! Perhaps this really goes to show how long we have last shopped together !

Nonetheless, the blogs titled unanimous decision because I felt that we both had the spirit of giving in us. It wasn't any occasion but Andy and I just decided on buying our bro Bjorn a car charger without even hesitation! It's really nice to see bjorn crack up when he receive his car charger! iPhone no doubt has brought us even closer than before. Imagine 3 iPhone maniacs talking to each other ! We even managed to convince Gwen to get one and drop her blackberry for it!!

Well today is definitely an awesome day to be doing such stuff. Window shopping and surveying the market stuff helps motivate alot. You kinda want to own more stuff etc and own nothing but the best.

Saturdays have evolved so Much without the influence of alcohol and clubs. Not saying either is a bad thing, it's just a choice I've made and I rather be spending my Saturdays working on some great big project than to be escaping reality through alcohol and loud awesome music.

Throughout this period of being AWOL from the scene, I came to learn that everyone clubs for different reasons.. Some just like it, some thinks it's a form of relief , some just wanna get laid, some to socialise and some to drink and some are just there for the sake of being there and some don't even want to be there!

Well I've been through all that thoughts and I have walked two moons around it. I figured I am better off building a plane or something.. Spending some quality time with my roadies.. Having sex with some beautiful stranger, or maybe just some random form of exercise..but of all that random
Thoughts, i think i seek comfort in being around people that I care about..

Swimming today was the activity I looked foward too pretty much and I've manage to swim 8 laps with brute force! It's not a lot to most swimmers but I guess I am still learning to swim and struggle less with water! Gwen came by as a special guest today after seeing my tweet and she actually came over for a swim together! It's nice to see more people resting on a Saturday night!

We had our dinner at chomp chomp at serangoon gardens together with ling and bjorn and Gwen. Seriously I wonder what I do without them.. Having said this statement, I suddenly realize I have answered a question I asked myself few months back when I met the wonder girls. What would I be doing if I've not met them. Hmm

While Yzanne couldn't make it for the swim, and dinner , we managed to somehow invite ourselves over to her place and I swear Yzanne is the most lovely sweetest girl I probably ever met in my life time. Though we have different styles and character, I sure see a potential wifely character in her being! She took care of us literally when she brought out the mattress and offered us drinks and make sure we feel home. That gesture alone had melted my heart. I love you best friend.

Catching me myself and Irene was great but more importantly I came to realize that the very key ingredient to an awesome day is not really the movie itself, neither it's the swim nor the clubs nor the alcohol nor whatever activities we are doing. But rather it's the company you are with that would truly determine your enjoyment factor.

We are where the partys at. We enjoy each others company and that matters more to me than the activities we choose to be in..

Invictus

The day started with me sitting upright with my eyes closed on my bed, leaning casually forward , hugging my $79 pillow. "damn barely 2 hours of sleep and I have to be up!"

Well I got up anyways and head to my office knowing that we will be catching Invictus today ! That thought alone is enough to spur all that secret stash of energy to power my whole day and maybe the whole night ! At least it hasn't bailed on me this far.

As usual I met up with Ling who has became my working buddy catching the same train. It sure helps having somebody to talk to on your way to work.. It sorta reminds me how we were as kids getting to school on a school bus.. And you have that one person to talk to. Well Ling, you're that person for me ! Call it my daily dose of fortune.. I will never stop beleving in this little girl. She will go far and become someone huge! Till then it be awesome to look back at this morning trip and say " hah I used to take the same train to work everyday!"

As I spent some time dressing up for the night, I was exactly on time for work which didn't allow me time to get my usual vegeterian breakfast. "saved $2.50!! Awesome"

Work was generally productive today as we had many orders coming in and many plans of coming out with more insane stuff! I'm kinda satisfied with the amount of touch ups and photographs and logistics and planning I've done today! I am certain with this training I can operate simultaneously better which is a quality I need to aquire in this life time for sure . Well we are always running for the thrill of it thrill of it!!

Since movie is only at 9pm , I arrived the rendezvous point rather early. In fact 2 hours early and since my best friend Yzanne said she be here in 15min, I sat down typing half of this blog and was interrupted upon the arrival of my Best friend Yzanne. 

The relationship I have with my best friend is rather a pleasantly strange pleasant one. It is honestly the best way I could describe our relationship as we call ourselves best friends but we hardly meet up and hardly speak to each other. The stranger thing about this relationship of ours is that we somehow genuinely do care for each other when we meet up and be there as a well.. best friend. Anyways I would gladly be there for her since she just got out of a super long relationship. Well .. at least she still have many friends and yes the Best Friend here.. and pretty much everyone else around me is her friends too. So what the heck, with the latest iPhone technology, we are just a Whatsapp away from each other.

We had subway for dinner, walked around Vivo and collected the tickets and rendezvous once again this time inside the cinema as Andy and Bjorn was late. Despite the fact that we were on time, the show didnt start till Andy and Bjorn stroll inside, "Wasssssuuuup" Just like old times in poly days .. just that we are 24.5 years old to 25.5 years old now... I wonder what we did over the years... "Like the sands in the hour glass.. so is the days of our lives..."

Invictus was a great movie. Not one of the usual shows that I would go for but it was great as it touches much about what it takes to be a bigger person on a much higher level. Not my usual kind of show (dialogues and dialogues, not much action) but sure the catch phrase "I am the captain of my pain, the master of my soul" has strike an impact to most of the audiences. 

The show ended on a good note and we went for our adventure in Geylang. Since none of us were hungry we all had a drink and bean curd. Damn its good way to end the night and I managed to get a snap shot of everyone.. thanks to iPhone's technology! 

I wish myself a great night as I have an exciting day tommorrow. Due to my tired nature, I decided on canceling tuition tomorrow so I can have a full days rest!! Its gonna be yet another great day tomorrow where I will be cleaning up my room and my mess in my computer! Can't wait!
